Delegates focused on discussions about information dissemination via the media, and education to raise public awareness of bomb and mine accidents.

The outcomes of the seminar will serve as a good foundation for the Vietnam National Mine Action Center to map out further programs, approaches, and time frames to implement the mine risk education in Quang Binh.

The seminar was part of the Korea-Vietnam Mine Action Project, which is scheduled to run in Quang Binh and Binh Dinh provinces from 2018 to 2020, including four components: Survey and Clearance, Information Management, Mine Risk Education, and Victims Assistance.

Last year, the project was carried out in eight communes of Quang Ninh, Bo Trach and Quang Trach districts in Quang Binh.
