The preparation requirements for propaganda action on local radio have to be specific, and meet the needs of the UXO education event for 34 local communities and help raise awareness on UXO safety for the population.

The project worked closely with local authorities to prepare for broadcast segments on local radio.

KVMAP organized radio UXO education events for the population of the 34 communities covered by the project.

Trainers along with the local Red Cross worked with the local radio stations of the 34 communities to produce radio propaganda contents and announcements on the work of the military force on UXO clearance and handover of cleared land to keep the people of the local community informed, as well as keep out of areas under clearing operation.

Radio messages on UXO education produced by the project will also be used during propaganda segments of the local radio network.
