In 2020, Vietnam Mine Action Center (VNMAC), Provincial Military Commands and the Red Cross have conducted joint training for local military reserves, youth unions, women associations on key contents of UXO safety such as identifying UXO, the causes and consequence of UXO-related incidents, and ways to avoid UXO-related incidents.

Training on promulgation techniques, planning on the delivery of key messages on UXO safety for targeted audiences were conducted.

Simultaneously, VNMAC with Provincial Military Commands and the Red Cross continue to conduct training for local promulgators on UXO risk education.

Technical support in building national technical instruction for UXO safety promulgation is based on the experience of the project and standardized documents.
