Final of the “Together to prevent bombs and mines in 2020” competition in Binh Dinh”.

On December 7 and 8, 2020, in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, the National Mine Action Center of Vietnam cooperated with the United Nations Development Program in Viet Nam, Korea International Cooperation Agency National and Binh Dinh Department of Education and Training to hold the Final of the “Together to prevent bombs and mines in 2020” competition.

This activity is within the framework of the “Korea – Vietnam Mine Action Project”, sponsored by the Korean Government.
There are 21 teams from 21 primary and secondary schools that have passed the district qualifying round to participate in the final round.

 

This is the first time that a knowledge contest on mine / UXO risk education has been conducted in the form of a contest on television.

 

The competition aims to raise the awareness of students as well as the community about mine accident safety.

Through this contest, the students became active communicators in mine / UXO accident prevention, to help build a community that is free from mine / UXO accidents.
