VNMAC is responsible for building, storing, processing and integrating data sources on bombs / UXO remediation, synthesizing and providing postwar mine / UXO remedial information. 
 
Stipulating the responsibility of VNMAC in collecting and managing KVMAP project information

Manage, ensure the conditions for the collection and storage of information about overcoming mine and UXO consequences nationwide, effectively and efficiently.

Study, propose and implement appropriate technical and technological measures to manage, backup and secure information about overcoming bombs, mines and explosives.

Guide, support and provide software, tools and human resource training for local military agencies, mine action units, and UXO action organizations in the collection, handling, providing and storing information on the mine and UXO database system.

Synthesize data, make a national report on the situation of overcoming consequences of bombs, mines and explosives every year.

The General Director of VNMAC stipulates that the scope, content and nature of postwar mine / UXO remedial information are allowed to provide and access to information users.

Directing the National Minefield Center to coordinate with organizations and units directly involved in the implementation of project components to collect, synthesize, manage and use information data according to regulations.
