Vietnam has joined the convention on people with disabilities, has issued many policies to support and implement many programs and projects to help people, which shows the responsibility of the Government and the role of social organizations, localities.

The identification of need for assistance to mine / UXO survivors should focus on working age mine victims, prioritize women and children, and at the same time research to utilise resources to ensure sustainability.
