In the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, there are new developments from the Korea-Vietnam Mine Action Project (KVMAP) after the last 6 months of 2020, which will have many activities to actively support mine/UXO incident survivors.

 
Plan for mine/UXO survivor support for the last 6 months of 2020

KVMAP will carry out online lessons on case management of people with disabilities and mine / UXO survivors, and the material will be used in the province of the Project and neighbouring provinces.

The Project will be completing the application for disability registration and mine / UXO survivors on iOS and Android platforms and putting them into use.

Rehabilitation assistance for 220 mine / UXO survivors will also be provided by KVMAP. Furthermore, the project will be supporting working equipment for Binh Dinh Social Work Center to provide support services for people with disabilities and mine / UXO survivors.

In addition, the project will assist in developing policy and legislation related to people with disabilities and mine / UXO survivors.
